Hen party beach babes just wanting to chill out and relax on beaches with it’s crystal waters and golden sands can, but for those who crave a buzz Barcelona offers a variety of water based activities to try out, like Sea kayaking, Catamaran cruises, wakeboarding, deep sea fishing, as well as the more comical options of banana boat rides.
Home to the world famous football team, it’s no surprise that Barcelona is a city big on sport. As well as football, the city is big on F1 racing too, and offers tours of both Camp Nou (football grounds) where many renowned matches have been held and Circuit de Catalunya (race track), host to the Grand Prix. Also on offer are the alternative sports with quad biking, bike tours and go karting to choose from.
When the sun sets, we go out to play. The city has stacks of venues from popular sports bars, pavement cafes, and British themed pubs, to trendy cocktail bars and fashionable bars. Then there’s the booming nightclubs and a list of musical genres to accompany them, Barcelona will leave all hens wanting more.
And now the important part…Food! Get a taste of the Mediterranean with local cuisine a popular choice for any party. Try fresh seafood paella to share, or a delicious start to your day with Spanish omelette. Maybe give something different a go with deep-sea fishing for a taste of the exotic seafood. But not to worry if you’re feeling home sick as there are plenty of chances to have a typical British meal to fill the bellies to the brim.
Transport wise, Barcelona is easily accessible, with many attractions in walking distance, though a metro system runs across the city and taxis are constantly available (knowing the language does help) for the ‘unfit’ girls of the bunch!
