SUPing, or stand up paddle boarding, is exactly what it sounds like: the rider stands up on a long board, which looks like an oversized surf board, and uses a paddle to power through the water. SUPing is basically a combination of surfing and kayaking/canoeing.
Once you are on the board, stand up and balance before using your paddle to propel yourself down river/across the ocean. You will receive full instruction and tips on how to balance and steer but we can't guarantee you won't fall in!
Let's just say, you know you are going to get a soaking if the paddle goes past the board and not the other way around. Also, don't forget you need to paddle on both sides, otherwise you'll end up going around in circles.
You must be able to swim at least 25 metres.
