Ladies, now's your chance to find out what might be under a real Scotsman's kilt as you witness a wee bit of caber tossing and sporran jiggling of the traditional kind. If you thought a spot of Highland Gaming was just for the lads, think again. There's plenty for lassies to excel at with a day of tremendous fun for a mixed bag of ages and fitness levels.
With games like Weight Over Bar (a weight, not yours!), welly boot hurling (just like the wanging version further south), a good old tug of war and the very traditional Haggis malt challenge, which involves the region's national food and drink, you'll discover your strength and stamina as well as your coordination (or lack of) with hours of laugh-a-minute fun with a few grunts and groans along the way.
If you're a large group then split into two and pit yourselves against each other, own your personal best in the individual games, or dual against the other parties there as even you girls get into that Highland warrior spirit. As usual, transport is arranged to and from the games centre incase your war horse is knackered.
Just beware, for those not local, you may pick up a little Lorraine Kelly twang by the end of your trip!
