Dragon Boat Racing is one of the fastest growing water sports out there and is ideal to bring your stag do group together so that you can all enjoy an activity at the same time, regardless of your abilities. Originating in China, it effectively involves a very long rowing boat with you all paddling away sort of Hawaii 5 O style down a nice long stretch of river. Appealing to stags, hens and mixed groups, this is not for the faint hearted, after all, you are in a race. Your instructors will build you up until you have the technique to race two boats against each other, either in 30' or 40' rowers, or smaller groups will race in reduced sized vessels with no less vigour. There's no denying, it's fast, it's furious and it's a real riot.
Yes of course the winning team will be larging it all weekend. Yes, someone is going to take the fall for losing. But that's part of the fun and it's not often you'll have the chance to try this unusual sport.
