For a more relaxed activity break, Swansea offers plenty to do. Head down to Mumbles, and take a stroll along the promenade, taking in the sea air and the seaside beauty it has to offer. With old school arcades, sandy beaches, Mumbles Pier and the legendary ice cream parlour ‘Joe’s’, this walkway parallel to the sea will leave you refreshed for the evening’s antics unless you opt for the famous Mumbles Mile of bars tour, essential for those who like a bit of a crawl!
For a more cultural scene, check out Swansea Docks. Peppered with museums and art galleries, as well as the LC Swansea, a leisure centre with top of the range facilities including a spa and indoor surfing. In the evening, when the sun goes down, the Docks light up with bars and restaurants including the Grape & Olive, with it’s stunning views, dine at the top of the tallest building in Wales. Or drink at some of the quirky and alternative places the city has to offer, with a popular venue being the American Jazz Bar, offering live music and a great view of the Marina at night.
