Move ‘em out and head ‘em in! If you're a more accomplished rider this will give you an alternative skill and if you're a complete novice don't panic, the Western style of riding is very easy to pick up and an excellent introduction to trail riding though a little more interesting than your standard pony trek.. The next two hours takes in the splendour of the New Forest and its inhabitants, you'll find that everything from the saddles to the reigns bring you a totally different experience to the formality of traditional British riding, and an insight into how cowboys coped with an extended life on the range. After you have bonded with your mount in the centre's arena, you'll gently trail ride on your gorgeous equine appaloosa amongst the wild forest ponies and foals, you might even catch sight of some deer weaving around the woods, trickling streams and open plains of the stunning national park. One British tradition is not missed though and a welcome cuppa and soft drinks are all provided.
