As reported in the Mirror when it comes to her wedding, bride to be Amber McMillan has left nothing to chance and has planned her whole wedding like a military operation.

She has even arranged four FOUR hen dos, one of them including afternoon tea with scones and strawberry tarts on stands.

“I’ve been dreaming about my wedding day since I was a little girl,” says Amber. “It is supposed to be the best day of your life and I want to relish every minute of the planning and the day itself. “

Amber has been planning her wedding nuptials for over a year and here are some of the arrangements she has done; lost three and a half stone, turned her spare room into a wedding shrine, she is providing petals for fresh confetti, had handmade pink polka dot tablecloths for the reception, bought her own matching cake stands and napkins, there are even special gift boxes for each child attending the wedding with toys to match their age so it keeps them entertained all day.

To keep all her friends on the loop she updates her Facebook three times a day with wedding updates, dress fittings and her latest purchases.

She has even thought carefully about the time of the ceremony.

She says: “The wedding isn’t just about me and Mark, we have thought about every guest and how they will enjoy it. We’ve booked it for 11am which some people might think is really early. But I thought that if we get married at 11am then we can be at the reception for lunchtime and people can eat. There is nothing worse than going to a wedding at 1pm, and the food not arriving till 4pm and everyone’s starving.”

A spokesman from DesignaVenture said, “we love an organised person and she sounds ideal for a job with DesignaVenture!”
