Changes To Our Privacy Policy

Yes, Yes… The governments (EU & British) have been at it again, putting together more legislation and new rulings and this time, the focus is on data protection.

It’s called GDPR and more details can be found here:
https://www.eugdpr.org

We understands the need for this new legislation, look at the recent Cambridge Analytica & Facebook scandal, but it’s not just that, it also makes companies aware that they are actually responsible for their customer’s personal data.

What Is Personal Data?
Personal data can be anything from your name, email address, home address etc. to intellectual and intrusive data such as your interests, likes, dislike etc., this type of invasive data can be sourced from the websites you visited or even the pages/posts/videos you’ve liked.

So before you fill in a form with your personal data you should ask yourself, “do you want to trust this company with your personal data?”

First and foremost, DesignaVenture are not in the personal data industry, we do not collect information on your likes and dislikes, we also and more importantly, do not sell or pass on your details to any third parties, all we want to do is arrange the best stag do, hen party or activity break you’ve ever had.

Any personal date you give us is stored on our secure database so we can send you quotes, itineraries, invoices etc. that you have requested.

If you agree to joining our mailing list, you must click on a ‘YES PLEASE’ button, you are not atomically added.
