So you know you have a stag do to organise for next year and the lads all want to travel outside of the UK, so when do you need to look at booking?

The general rule for booking flights is; the earlier you book, the cheaper they will be. This is not guaranteed as flight prices can fluctuate, there is no pattern to the market so if you see a good price go for it.

Most low cost airlines have release dates throughout the year, for example on 19th September Easyjet released their flights for summer 2020. If you can get organised around the release date you have a good chance of getting reasonable fares, before demand increases and so does the price.

To help with your budget, be sure to check all of your local airports and be flexible on dates. If your closest airport is London Heathrow, consider also travelling from London Stansted. If you can get a cheaper fare it might outweigh the travel costs of getting transport to Stansted airport. It is also becoming more popular to have a mid-week stag do abroad as weekends are when flight prices are at their highest. If your group can get the time off work, this is a great option to consider.

Basically, the sooner you can start getting organised the better and if you really want to be money savvy,  there are newsletters you can sign up to send you alerts for new flight deals.

Whenever you choose to book, please be sure to book with an ATOL registered company like DesignaVenture to keep your money secure.
