Britain is a dog loving nation and dog owners like to spoil their pooches as much as they can however, a pet owner from Burnley has lifted the bar so high I think it will be decades before any other dog owner will come even close!
OK, how can I put this, a dog owner has shelled out £6,000 on a hen party for her Chihuahua! £6,000!!!
According to this article on the Daily Mirror’s website, this barking mad (well the pun had to be done) dog owner paid for:
- A huge pink Limo
- A naked butler
- Human and dog food (canapés, drinks + dog treats)
- Fancy dress for the humans and the pooches
- Decorations – Balloons, L Plates etc.
- Photographer
- Spa treatments for dogs
- A Party Planner
- 4* Hotel with travel
The dog is called Chi Chi and has apparently fallen in love with her best mates dog called Harvey which is a Pomeranian.
Helen Turner (the dog owner) is not stopping there, she is planning a wedding for her little pampered pooch and is looking at spending about £24,000 on the ceremony, which is pretty much how much the average person spends on a normal human wedding.
Maybe she could have booked the pooches hen party through Designaventure and paid a little less. She could have sent this pampered pooch quad biking, coasteering or even a night at the dogs in Bournemouth.
