Salou offers a brilliant mix of relaxation and entertainment. The resort itself is quite compact with lovely sandy beaches and plenty to keep the group amused, including the mega theme park, Port Aventura, which is right alongside the resort. The world-renowned Dragon Khan roller coaster, with no less than eight terrifying loop-the-loops, dominates the skyline for miles around, and of course there is an abundance of stag and hen favourite activities including paintballing, rally karts, Aquopolis water-park, bar and club tours, plus Barcelona just over an hours drive away.
When it comes eating out, Salou has something for everyone from some mouth-watering Spanish tapas or pan of paella to cracking Chinese meals. As for nightlife, the choice is mind boggling, there are British and Irish pubs for a pint or two, music bars, casinos, strip clubs, flamenco bars and fantastic nightclubs where you can strut your stuff until the early hours and on top of all that a wonderful Mediterranean climate.
Useful Information
Top Tip ~ Low cost airlines flying from the UK into Reus which is only about 20 minutes drive away from Salou means stag and hen short breaks can be really cost effective.
Timing your visit: April to October, the temperatures can reach into the high 90's in the peak summer months usually with a cool sea breeze so not unbearable.
Accommodation: We mainly use fully equipped self catering apartments which are located right in the centre of Salou so the beach and nightlife are within a few minutes walk. Breakfast can be arranged at an additional charge if required. We are also able to offer 2* to 4* hotels with or without breakfast and on an all-inclusive basis. So there really is somewhere to suit everyone’s requirements and budget.
Restaurants: There is an abundance of choice including fast-food outlets, British, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Italian restaurants throughout the resort. Plus of course restaurants specialising in Catalan dishes, Paella, tapas and local seafood. Prices are very reasonable compared to the UK.

Rory Prendergast - Bristol Stag Do May 2012
Thanks very much for helping to coordinate the stag do weekend that I was organising in Bristol for 18 people. The hotel you chose for us was great – exceeding all our expectations and was right in the city centre.
The itinerary pack I got before I set off had all the handy contact details/maps that made everything that little bit easier when we arrived. The West Country Olympics was also good craic – a perfect warm up for the big events in London this summer… Helping out with booking the minibus was invaluable also - as was sorting the guest lists to the two clubs on the Saturday night!
Payment with DesignaVenture was easy, straightforward and secure. Also, the operatives couldn’t have been more helpful when responding to my emails / phone calls. I’d recommend DesignaVenture to anyone looking to book a big group on a stag do to Bristol.
