Cool Britannia, Edinburgh certainly is, offering a huge amount of nightlife including comedy bars, lap dancing, pole dancing lessons (for the hen parties), a mass of comedy clubs and not forgetting some of the best clubs in the UK.
If you live in the south getting to Edinburgh has never been so cheap & easy, with low cost flights from local airports (check out www.easyjet.co.uk ) and even the train companies (at last) have caught on by offering return Apex tickets at very low prices (Apex tickets must be booked at least two weeks in advance and are non refundable).
So what’s to do in the day? Well, Edinburgh is about one and a half hours (max) from Aberfeldy which offers the best white water rafting in the UK, and close to the white water site you also have Abseiling & Climbing or Gorge Walking/scrambling id you want to make a day of it.
Just by Edinburgh airport you have one of the best paintball sites in the UK not only offering excellent scenarios and game zones, they also include and sell lots of different pyrotechnics to give you that true SAS feel.
If you travel 20 minutes out of Edinburgh, just over the Fourth Bridge we can offer Quad Bikes, Honda Pilots, Rally Karts, Power Turns and Clay Pigeon Shooting.
If you have travelled up by train or plane and need transport well don’t panic we have excellent rates with minibus companies to keep you within budget. For a sixteen seat minibus half a day would cost you around £140 which is just under £10 each.
Don’t forget The Edinburgh Festival is on over the whole of August so if you are planning your weekend for then, please book as early as possible.
